I could be much better...
I looked and it's been over 2 months since I updated my journal.
So.. I'll update you up to this point.
MAY:
May was an alright month. I graduated from WHA High School, what a rush! I made a speech at graduation and everything. It was nice. To be able to get up in front of my class and their friends and families and have one last word and say something to all of them. I spoke of loyalty and roots. In closing I said that Walker would always be my home... THEN! It was off to my boyfriends graduation party, which was lovely. With all of the pulled pork, potato salad, and fruit to dip in chocolate.. It was very nice. Both of us dressed very nicely in formal wear, until he decided to change into a Hawaiian shirt and shorts *rolls eyes happily*, leaving me in a very nice polka dot dress.. And as always with our group of friends, the very late evening was ended with a round of Zombie video games that lasted late into the night.. I however was taking a nap in 'our' room because I don't do so well with Zombies. But, loyal and loving as Zachary is, he came and spent the last hour of the night just laying with me while our friends continued to play video games.
A few days later we helped a few of our friends move out of their apartment and into one a block away..
There was a lot of high stress and Zachary and I ended up staying at a very nice Holiday Inn with our friends mother.. A better nights sleep, I've never had.
Sadly, not but a week after graduation.. That damned Army van came up his drive way and stole him away from me.. Leaving me there sitting with his family in tears and a broken mess.. I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss him.. It truly, hurts to think about.
JUNE:
So, I begin to pick up the pieces. About 6 days after he left I turned 18. Which was a very nice thing. I celebrated by having a whole weekend with Erin! She went with me to get my first tattoo. And she made the this whole AMAZING 18 piece birthday gift. It was amazing, and I felt so blessed to have such a wonderful friend with me, my dearest and longest friend whom I could never EVER replace.
After Erin and I's celebration, I began work.
The graveyard shift.
My evenings were filled with play practice. My nights spent at work. And my days spent sleeping.. I hate it.
But money is money and the economy is what it is..
But that's all for me right now. I'll finish this later..
Sleep is what I seek.
To all of the Military wifes and girlfriends out there that just prey their men come home..
